About the event
Rural Health in Action.
The Rural Health Sector Partnership will host its first convening of 2026 on Wednesday, March 4 at the Bastrop County Community Center.
This gathering will bring together coalition members, healthcare providers and community leaders to review newly collected needs assessment and to examine healthcare workforce needs and future plans impacting rural Central Texas.
Rebecca Powe with BRIDGE will share findings from surveys she conducted in Bastrop and Fayette counties, highlighting local priorities, service gaps and opportunities for collaboration.
Laura Rosen with Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area will provide insight on current healthcare workforce needs and outline future workforce development plans in the area.
Together, attendees will explore collaborative solutions to improve access to health and wellness resources throughout rural communities.
